Alfred Wegener Institute, Germany is an internationally renowned ice physics research institute. Jilin school sent Pavel Talalay, Zhang Nan and others to the institute for many times to conduct research and development of ice core electrical characteristics test equipment and ice core physics. Prof. Frank Wilhelms had been invited to Jilin University many times for exchange visits. We sent a number of people to participate in the German 2017/2018 summer and 2018/2019 summer Antarctic scientific expedition, and the vibration sampler developed by Jilin University in the Antarctic subglacial sediment was successfully tested and applied in the project of "Comprehensive investigation of hot water drill around Ekstrom Ice Shelf Neumayer III Station". The sediment samples at the bottom of the Antarctic ice shelf were drilled 1.4 meters, and good application results were obtained.
