Victoria University of Wellington is an internationally renowned research institution in the field of subglacial environmental exploration. Jilin University sent staff to participate in the 2019/2020 New Zealand Antarctic scientific expedition, and applied the vibration samplers of Antarctic subglacial sediments developed by Jilin University in the "Ross Ice Shelf field hot water drilling scientific expedition" project. After nearly two months of equipment debugging and test drilling, and vibration sampling, successfully obtained samples of Antarctic subglacial sediments. The application effect was good.
