Ice and Climate Research Center, University of Copenhagen, Denmark

The Ice and Climate Research Center of the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, is an internationally renowned polar drilling and ice physics research institution, and the formal cooperation began in 2018. In 2018 and 2019, Jilin university had sent members to participate in the East Greenland deep ice core scientific drilling project(EGRIP) organized by the University of Copenhagen, and participated in the Arctic expedition activities. In-depth exchanges and cooperation in deep ice core drilling, drilling equipment and technology optimization, ice core physics and chemistry research. The Arctic field investigation completed the actual drilling depth over 700 meters, and completed the repair and maintenance of the drilling rig, ice core processing and analysis. Professor Dorthe Dahl Jensen, director of the Ice and Climate Research Center and academician of the Royal Danish Academy of Sciences, has been hired as an honorary professor of Jilin university, and has been invited to give lectures on many occasions, and sent teachers to UCPH University for exchange and study, which had established a solid foundation for cooperation.
